Hello everyone. Firstly let me say its strange that almost 25 years have gone by! Cant be :) I feel like its yesterday at 1 SAI then 5 SAI. my story differs from most in that I realized the treachery and shallowness of our political leaders. The same Afrikaners who betrayed all the whites in Rhodesia betrayed us the whites in RSA a few short years later. Thats correct I could not continue serving in the SADF although I respected it and the many hardships I went through. When officers of rank Capt and Major are threatening me with death and fellow service men tell me I am a kaffirboetty even though I am more right wing than you Afrikaners! What happened? I told the minister of defense to lock me up or discharge me. I was highly trained having done all the bush stufffff and teen opps etc still I realized we were fighting for nothing. In the end I was sent home then six months later called up again back to 1SAI where they discharged me finally. No hard feelings though. I got my service medal and discharge certificate but it all felt wrong. Today SA is screwed. Whichever way you look at it its fcuk ED - Too many munts paying for nothing and too few whites paying for everything. My feelings are mixed. Why were the nco so vindictive, such arseholes especially the PFs? Why were we led along like fools by the Afrikaner politicians who did not sent their sons into the army? They went to wits then to air force etc! Gen Malan bless his soul said there was no military solution to our problem in SA. So why subject a whole generation of us to the brutality and mindless goings on that happened in the SADF? My memories are tainted by my personal experiences. I remember stupid officers who ate with a spoon telling me with one degree at that time what to do. Thats why it failed. They PFs were vindictive, bitter sadistic arseholes who could not make it in civi street. I am gald its all history now. I would not want my sons, nephews etc to follow into such a negative organization. I am glad however that I served in my own way a country I loved which is also long gone, thanks to the Afrikaner p[politicians who lost their stomach for a fight. They betrayed the English out of sheer spite then they betrayed their own people. They sold your birth right for a few pieces of silver. The k4s must laugh at us now, So sad. By the way I still have my ballsack FULL I mean full of kit. Everything minus my dear beloved R4 stashed in the roof of my fathers home in Durban SA. I have never had the heart to open it in case some memories come back that I had forgotten. I miss my dear old south africa. You know the real one that deklerk the traitor killed off in 1990! So sad. Today its a failing state run by corrupt black arseholes who use white tax money to uplift blacks. Why did you vote for the nats? If you are still in sa get out its only going to go downhill from here. I know I am an economist.
